Once again what he did was completely wrong and yes he crossed the line.

I guess people don't deserve a second chance, maybe a town hanging will make things better.

BTW I have never met either one of the coaches.

If this was a parent that had choked a coach, this thread would be 20+ pages by now. If the ump had been choked, a different result as well. Instead it is a well connected 18G coach who doesnt like another coach. Different standards.

By all means, this is no big deal. He should get back to the business of coaching high school age girls. The life lessons he can impart to them about actions and consequences are crucial. They will learn that if you become important enough, or have the right connections, you get treated differently than the common folk.

Perhaps a name change to Renegades Elite is in order.

I have to disagree with you that this is a witch hunt. The guy clearly did what he is accused of doing, therefore not a witch hunt at all where any person who was thought to be a witch on some trumped up charges was put to death. Also it seems clear that anyone defending him clearly justifies why this guy feels empowered to do as he wishes. It's not acceptable and if any one of us did the same we would be out in a heart beat. Why is this so hard to understand? I do believe in 2nd chances but he has to go away first and take some time off and gain people's trust bAck. It's clearly showing hypocrisy. With all the negative stories going on lately we need to purge this sport of anyone bringing negative light to this sport. Yah I know, keep dreaming.

I am not sure this comes down to 'both sides are suggesting'. It comes down to, was a line crossed? I think that it was. Are you arguing that it was not?

Until I get the true story, I'm not arguing either way. I don't know the history and I wasn't there. And unless you were in that dugout, you weren't there either. None of us knows exactly what was said, what instigated it, or what actually happened. On this forum alone, it's gone from choking to strangling to intent to kill. Yet you claim it is "clear" what happened??? People are making personal attacks based on a one-sided story that was heard 2nd-and-3rd-hand. And when a good faith apology was publicly posted by one of the presidents, he got bashed too. Seriously??? It may not be a witch-hunt, but it's mob-like and witch-hunt-ish. It needs to stop.

Again, apologies were made and accepted from the parties involved. The presidents of their organizations have talked and seem willing to move past this ugly incident. The rest of us really should consider respecting that.

Dude it doesnt matter what the HISTORY is...if they got a problem with each other they can brawl in their back yard , dont bring that sh*t to the fields. I dont care if they have hated each other from when they were kids. History means jack! Its about that moment when Fox made a bad decision and choked him. That part we do know, which in this instance is all I care about. He choked a dude on the softball field over a GAME. Step back and think about that. We all get heated , and I get that, but lets put this in perspective a little. Also at this level they are suppose to be conducting themselves in a manner that is not detrimental to their kids looking to play college ball. Also at this level, they should both know better. I expect these stories from 10-12U where every parent is a little nuts. Yes, I was too. Just relax!
