Haha!! Well, you just messed that up for me!! Can't wait to see all my friends up there!! Hopefully, it will be AT Valencia!!(Placentia!!) So, G, you gonna make it down here WHEN we win the coin toss? I WILL be at the game, here or there!! JZ said he may make it there too, if it's up there!!

Since Valencia of Valencia is a 1 seed you better get on the freeway early

Everyone is saying that doesnt matter. If BOTH teams had home games, it is a coin toss. Does anyone know OFFICIALLY if this is the case?

How do you figure?
I only see 3 games of equally seeded teams facing each other. doesn't the higher seed take home?

OLU will have a coin flip with Foothill as both teams were visitor today. It does not matter by seed.

So, Jmo. #2 seed Valencia(Placentia) vs #1 seed Valencia(Valencia), home team WILL be determined by a coin toss, correct? Just making sure!

Oh, and Spaz, nice comeback win today against Canyon!!

Oh, and I agree with you Spaz. Higher seed SHOULD get home game!!

Truly one of the stupidest thing in CIF. If you earn a #1 seed, you shouldn't have to drive.

Correct - you will toss a coin.

Could have been worse - Dana Hills had a 5 hour bus ride to Atascadero today and, luckily, a happy 5 hour drive home.

Actually, I would have to add that front soft toss not being allowed is also one of the stupidest rules in CIF.

Is that just for playoffs? I saw the coach of Chino pitching wiffles at the Carew and a team doing it before one of our games. If so, why would playoffs be any different than the regular season?

BATTING PRACTICE – Includes bunting or slap hitting.
Teams entered in the softball playoffs WILL NOT be
permitted to take batting practice on the day of the
scheduled contest. Batting practice will be construed as any

of the batter (including pitching machines, underhand tossing,
overhand throwing or pepper). THE ONLY ACCEPTABLE
BATTING WARMUP WILL BE SIDE SOFT TOSS.
The player who tosses the ball should be on a knee and to the
side of the batter. The ball should be lifted, not pitched, to
the batter. THE PENALTY FOR BATTING PRACTICE
WITH WIFFLE BALL, SOFTBALL, BASEBALL, ETC.
MAY BE FORFEITURE OF GAME.
