I agree . Double Play 97 is a very good team. They have played us tough every time we have face them this season. Russ has done a great job with his girls.

Punishers 97 will be in the mix as the season progresses. A well coached team with some talented players. Congratulations on the recent championship Punishers.

Regarding the Cruiser's friendly Sunday, no matter who won what games, whose #whatever faced whose #whatever, we need to remember that these are friendlies.

Friendlies allow teams to practice plays, develop players at secondary positions, etc., in order to prepare for tournaments.

Kudos to all the teams for giving it their best each weekend, improving the overall level of play of all the teams.

Nice thought, but welcome to the real world. thanks to the quest of making Bracky's list, the only developing going on with some coaches, is trying to develop a reputation and to them the friendly becomes States, where you may be batting your roster (12-14 players) they are batting 9, pitching their #1 and as serious as a heart attack. If they happen to win, they get on this forum boasting about beating a ranked team, and ...."you better watch out for us, we are a force to be reckoned with".

Well put. I just dont get why anyone would want a target on thier back??? I also look at teams that post that type of hype about thier team the same way I feel about parents talking thier kid up. If your kid & your team is all that just let the play speak for itself.. JMO

Congratulations to #17 Artesia Punishers 97 for winning the 12u TCS Big League Dreams championship on 4/11/2010 over #14 So Cal Breakers (Imoto).

The Punishers 97 are a solid team that appears to be a top 15 team. The TCS championship was the team’s 2nd big tournament win!

Sorry about the delay in the congratulations but last week was very long!

Punishers 97 will make some noise when it counts. I've seen them play a handful of times and they can hit the ball with any team. And they just picked up another nice pitcher to add to the mix.
