Rage taking down 3 of the top 4 teams recently. Friendly's or not this is an eye opener.

Eyes wide open now, mission accomplished. Way to "take them down". Just like you did at Toys 4 Tots right? Didn't you lose 3 that weekend? Strike Force, Corona Eliminators and Gamers, talk smack when you can get out of quarter-finals. Sure these team won't pitch their #3 or #4 pitchers next time at a friendly so be prepared to be taken down

I can see lot's of haters out there with nothing constructive to say but that's fine. So I guess those other teams were just throwing away the game since it's ONLY a "friendly". And they weren't throwing the 3 & 4 pitchers why would they since this is the time to get their top pitchers some work against quality opponents. And the other teams must of told their girls don't hit since it's just a "Friendly" and take it easy at the plate.

Winning 1 or 2 games out of 4 then I can see your point that it might of not said anything but 3 out of 4 against these top 4 teams did raise eyebrows. Yes they lost in AA Tourney but teams do get better and this could be a real good sign of that.

Take the post for what it is and if it doesn't mean anything to you that's fine but for all the others like me it does raise my eyebrows. Good job Rage

Constructive- how about most teams do rotate pitchers and position players. Perhaps Rage doesn't and you guys rock and roll with your solid 9, kudos. Teams that win the big games (tournies, Nat's) will roll into town with all kids contributing and experienced against all levels (yes a #3 or #4 pitches against top teams too). Like SF26 said your on the radar map no need to slap a big ol' bullseye on your back, oh too late for that.

TrueDat, truedat! Rage your a darn good team! No need to chest thump! Your team is playing very comfortable n confident. Good Coaches get the best out of thier players. Adding a pitcher to the staff to compliment #16 and giving teams a steady dose of smallball. You guys are right there with the other two top teams.

As the head coach for So Cal Rage 10u, I have a few comments:

First, as a team we do not condone the posting of friendly scores. They are completely meaningless, especially at the 10u level, where inconsistency is the norm.

Second, the team coaches have clearly expressed our position on this matter in our meetings with the team parents. Whether the person who posted these scores is a Rage parent or not I have no way of knowing, but, if so, he or she is in direct violation of our team rules. Our girls play softball for lots of great reasons, none of which include providing their parents with bragging rights. We play to win, because winning is motivating, and winning is fun. But bragging about winning is silly, and about the surest way to attract an undeserved bad reputation. That is our position on the subject.

Finally, we have immense respect for all of the teams mentioned in the offending post. If we're fortunate enough to beat any of them on one day, we know we're just as likely to be on the other end of it the next time around. And that's just fine, because it's all a valuable learning experience for the girls.

As a team we're committed to focusing on the learning part. If we do, we believe that the results will take care of themselves.

So Cal Rage 10u / Coach Auggie
