Might have to move the Corona Angels 96 up. Heard they picked up some "Big Red" talent.

If that is true it could be and negative or a positive because they already have 4 pitchers now you add one more? Isn't it still winter? I don't see this as being good move if they already have 4 pitchers somebody anit going to be number #1 anymore if that happens. This could back fire for CA 96.

I guess you haven't been to a Minors Gold Friendly or tournament.. Meatball sandwiches, come on now. How about Tri Tip that has been marinating for days, Carne Asada combo burritos that would make Poncho Villa proud, who ever that is. Can you say Bow Tie Chicken Pasta with fresh garlic and olive oil...

How about pancakes and bacon for breakfast.. These are some of the thing MG serves

And at States last year gave away free pancakes late at night!! Who does that? They hit the spot late at night, was like we were at IHOP ;) Minors Gold does know a thing a or two about snack bars IMO. Keep the competition going and step it up people!
At Champions Cup I had the MG pancake special, they were great and they served them with warmed maple syrup.

Hey Ice,
What does picked up some "Big Red" talent mean? Is that code for something or am I just clueless?

We don't have a #1 pitcher, never have.. All pitchers rotate and whoever has the "hot hand" will be in the circle during tournaments... This has always been our team's philosophy. If the rumor is true, which I cannot confirm, she will be welcome, as all players are, to work hard and compete as a team..

Should know tomorrow... She has expressed interest in the past of coming back to our team (She played with us in 10U for a Winter season), but has yet to make the move for one reason or another... I have heard she also expressed interest in another '96 team, but all rumors..

Like I've said many times before, KK is used to sharing circle time, prefers to have pitchers as good or better than she is on the team - nice to have friendly competition between them, the girls feed off eachother, pump eachother up, etc.. I guess we look at the whole pitching thing a little different than a lot of folks.. Perhaps MW is tired of being the work horse and carrying the load of the team(s) she's playing for and wants a change... Guess we shall see tomorrow... ;)

I forgot to answer your other question, sorry.. I have not heard anything about any other players. As you know, we lost our 2B to FC ( :( ) and we are working hard to solidify our infield. Would we turn away a stud SS? NO WAY, she's welcome to come on out as well - like KLFC96 said, it's Winter, so now is the time to try out different players and figure out what's what for Spring...

Times like these make me glad I'm a backseat coach, lol....
