The conversation went from a calm pleasant softball discussion into a screaming match who will win 14U Nationals, California or Texas!!! So good luck to all California 14U teams at Nationals especially when you play a TEXAS team show no mercy!!

Or maybe it will be a repeat of last year in Georgia, when they were sent packing, crazy grandpa and all, after being disqualified for having an illegal player.

It is the Kruzers I believe they are speaking of and we have played them. They are a very good team and should do well - Top 10 perhaps. After seeing them and playing in Colorado and OKC HOF I think a top 95 California team will win it all. Texas would do better if they didn't spread out the talent with so many teams plus to many of the top 95's go on to play 16u or 18u gold instead of staying down.

Better to have an excuse before the event that way you can always say " I told you so"...
Girls play up everywhere...Not just Texas.

Not an excuse. Texas has only 3 decent 95 teams: Deer Park TPS, Kaos 95 & Kruzers. All the other have moved up or on. I would imagine California has many more all 95 teams.

I have seen Madness three times in 3 weeks. Solid pitching (rise balls and placement) and a sick
offensive line up. These girls and armed and ready with the stick. Very impressive but, on any given Sunday against a legit team... they can be beat. It just has not happened lately. I think that they might have lost a game yesterday but losing a friendly still does not count in my book. Some teams bat 9, some bat 14 at friendlies.

At the Firecracker warm up for the Nationals friendly yesterday, it was like watching a fireworks show with all of the bombs that were being hit from all of the tams that were there. Then you would see another smash and a defensive gem would appear. All i have to say is "Wow... So Cal teams are ready". Look out Moline.

Next : A Bracky All Star Team from the California 14u National Teams....no? 8-)

I have to agree with OCD, Madness is a very good team and should be a contender. There are a few teams with more experience at nationals and that give them an edge over Madness. It would be nice for SoCal to take first, second and third again this year :) Good luck to all
