Add in the Allisters' On Deck Camp on Friday where 120 athletes from 2012-2015 all competed and performed in front of 110 coaches from 8:00am to 5:00pm. And of course the great food provided on Friday by Numero Uno and the Minors Gold organization....I think it was an excellent weekend!! :D :D

Unless they stuck you at a crappy HS field with no scouts. What a waste.

Hey, the small snack bar on the other side near fields 6, 7, & 8 was pretty good too!
Agree with jmo, tons of big time programs, and the feedback I heard was great.
The Allisters always put on a first class event, and are two of the nicest people you could ever meet.
I am curious about the turnout and feedback from Las Vegas.
Deserve's got nothin' to do with it.

I usually do not post on this site or any other similar sites but I do want to answer the person that posted that they were stuck at a H.S. site where there were no college coaches. I personally went to the site and the morning that I was there I counted 9 college coaches in attendance. I had several college coaches ask me how to get to the site and in questioning several others they said that they had also been there. In addition EVERY 18U team had at least 2 games scheduled at Diamond Valley. On Friday we had 110 Division 1 college coaches at the Zoom Into June Jamboree which was held on the three lower fields at Diamond Valley (it was difficult to turn around without bumping into a college coach). Most of the travel ball coaches had someone in attendance Friday so they could network with the coaches and watch the players that they had nominated to be in the clinic. Unfortunately some of the travel ball coaches did NOT do their job and both phone and email at least 20 college coaches in the two weeks leading up to the event, they also did NOT nominate a player or players to attend the clinic and they were NOT in attendance on Friday to network with the college coaches. So Cals Finest Delivered on EVERYTHING they had promised and it is difficult for me to understand why a few travels ball coaches did NOT do their job. I will not respond further on this site as I believe that what I have stated SAYS IT ALL.

We played at Winchester on Saturday and Diamond Valley on Sunday and had plenty of coaches at our games at both venues. The fact that the tournament organizers felt a rotation to the main fields for most, if not all, of the teams was important is a landmark consideration and is to be applauded.

Also, the 1:30 no new and 1:40 drop dead format gave us 6 full innings for all but one of our games. More opportunity for everyone and consistent with the tournament director's vision of making the event a valuable resource to the whole softball community.

Thanks.

You are right Artomatic about both snack bars on Saturday and Sunday at Diamond Valley. The Firecrackers and Minors Gold both had great food!!

I was just thanking the Snack Bar that was put together on Friday for the College Coaches and players. Many parents took the day off of work to come out and work it.

The Big Dog - you are right when you say ALL TEAMS were at Diamond Valley at least for one day and the same can be said in the 16U division as ALL 16U TEAMS were at Wheatfield for one day.

Even more important is that many coaches stayed all day on Sunday to watch games!!

Never really posted here either but wanted to put in my two cents. We played at Diamond Valley and Winchester on Saturday and Sunday and saw many College recruiters at both facilities. On behalf of our team I would like to thank the Firecrackers and Minors Gold for once again putting on a great Showcase. The fields, snack bars, competition, weather, college scouts, umpires, format 1:30 NN 1:40 DD, just a great event. Even ran into Mr. softball JMO. Great to see you as always. The only negative is the bathroom facilities at DV. But hey, Rome was built in a day. Once those are completed along with a perm snack bar that place will be second to none for hosting softball events. All in all, a great weekend of softball and opportunities for our players which in the end is what it is all about.

Coaches,

Sorry to bother you, but we lost (okay..we left) a small black bag of 27 of the heavy TCB balls at the Diamond Valley complex today about noon. They were most likely left between fields 3 and 4. They are expensive so we would love to get them back. We had a luggage tag on them with the Oregon Silver Bullets logo.

Please contact me if found...we can arrange to pay for the shipping.

Thanks.
