Great tourney. There's more pride in winning in a tough bracket. Its better for the girls in the long run. Do the GIRLS actually complain about the bracket? Or the PARENTS? I know the Victory girls were proud of making it to the Championship. Especially after playing all of the tough TOP ranked teams that they did. I was around the booth and never heard a player complaining, just PARENTS! Bottom line, BEAT WHO'S IN FRONT OF YOU!

Very well run tourney. awesome fields. No cars broke into that I know. No charge to get in. Plenty of parking. Plenty of restrooms. No over priced snackbar with sh**y food. Plenty of "warm-up space".

Right! and if you do not not play the best, how will you get better? The girls and the coaches need to see how well, tight and consistent defense needs to be, how fast you need field and throw, how accurate and smooth to relays need to be, how and when to be aggressive, how well and consistent the the hitting has to be... so what are your choices? Get better, get faster, get stronger, get more cuts in! Complain about it for ten minutes and you have just wasted ten minutes?

I think everyone on Heybucket can read especially when Bracky does the polls to know who are the top seeded teams.
I believe the seeding comment was in reference to how the teams finished in pool play, not the mythical brackey rankings

I agree with Bracky it's no Super 14U 96 team this year and far as I'm concern it looks like any of the top 14U 96 teams can be beat on any given Saturday or Sunday depends who shows up to PLAY BALL. Oh by the way a lost is a lost rather it's 20 or 9 innings it seems like to me your team is just happy and thrilled going 9 innings with PS 96 and losing the way you threw that out there. OH MY GOD I CAN"T BELIEVE WE WENT 9 INNINGS WITH PS 96 WOW!! HIGH FIVE EVERYONE!!! WHAT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT THAT WAS, CONGRADS!!

Anytime teams play a tight game it is something to be happy with win or lose. Playing a solid game is what these girls all work for.
BTW it is a loss, not lost.

And in regards to your comment about MT stealing players you couldn't be further from the truth

Thanks for pointing out how hard the TOP bracket was from the BOTTOM bracket. Do I hear excuses????? I think it was pretty solid. Did your team lose to any of the teams in the bottom bracket??? Answer that question?? What a piece of work you are! I especially like how you top it off with: Looking forward to seeing some of the out of town teams play too...

I know for a fact MT stole players from his own organization for his GOLD TEAM so don't sit there and cover up the truth! Why Did MS leave the organization after winning a National Championship??? That's like Phil Jackson leaving the Bulls with players like Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen on the team or even the Lakers with Kobe Bryant and Paul Gasol!! BTW, HANDS DOWN the best snack bar! Tri tip was amazing! Spent more money buying meat then gas getting there!

Must have been the same ump we had, called one IP on K-K First inning on Saturday, then proceeded to bend over and stare at her foot each and every pitch, ignoring everything else the entire game, not even glancing at the base runners AT ALL; it was actually comical how intent he was on catching whatever he was looking for.

Oh, and to clarify about the top bracket being tougher, 8 of the top 12 seeded teams were in the top bracket, while 4 were seeded into the bottom. As far as talent level goes, that all depends on who is in each pool. Generally, you have 6 and 6 with say 1st seeds and 2nd seeds from the opposite pools placed equally on both the top and bottom brackets. Not complaining, just making an observation. You have play the best to be the best and we ended up playing PowerSurge 9 innings, 3 ITBs before finally taking the 1-0 loss. That was such an awesome game, we were glad to have played them and were happy the bracket ended up the way it was.

I don't think Butler University worried about playing any of the top seeded teams in the NCAA to advance to the ship to play Duke did they? And they certainly didn't make excuses or try to point out why or how tough it was when they won or lost! They just played the game.

There were no excuses made nor was there any over-enthusiasm about playing PowerSurge so well, nor was it a total surprise. Winning isn't everything and when your team plays a great game, win OR lose, you should be proud of them.. PERIOD. No one said anything about the Angels acting in any kind of way.
