Custom Gloves

What's on your mind?

by Luther » Wed Jan 07, 2015 8:13 am

My DD lost her glove and I need to get her a new one. She will be going off to college so she will need something nice.

Does anyone know of a custom fastpitch glove that comes almost broken in? I thought I remember seeing one advertised that said all gloves were broken in by hand before being delivered. Any thoughts or experiences?

I have heard nothing but good things about Kelley gloves. According to their website, "The Kelley Black Series is the only glove in the world to utilize a 6 oz. steerhide shell. We combine the premium shell with a Coolmax Performance Interior and Deerskin Palm Lining. Best of all, it's the only high-end glove that comes almost game-ready." http://www.kelleyusa.com

Well Father, I didn't see the word "softball" in that site, all baseball. But if I am wrong, I will come in for confession.

Never heard of Kelley before, but I was able to find this very quickly on their site.

"Kelley
The Kelley brand was established in 1995 and is best known for its legendary leather gloves for baseball and softball. Kelley also focuses on other premium quality products for diamond sports, including protective gear and accessories. Kelley Eyewear has recently made big waves in the market due to incredibly light-weight and interchangeable designs."

According to their website, Kelley does, indeed, make Fastpitch-specific gloves. A more specific link, for the Doubting Thomases...
