I just want to give a shout out to Bret Denio the owner of Explosion in So Cal. One of the true good guys in softball who really does it all for the girls. Not only is he one of the best recruiters he also gets all his players done every year placing them in college. Not only does Bret get all the Explosion kids done he also helps many players from other teams as well find the right school.

You have all seen the prices of these clinics and showcases and some are good and bring in colleges and some not so good. I have seen clinics range from $150.00 a player to $500 a player. Well this week Bret is running a clinic with 30-50 colleges coming, maybe more. Their will be less then 60 players attending.

The cost Zero that's right nothing to attend and he is feeding the college coaches. Talk about someone doing it for the right reasons.

The workout will be led by Greg Borzilleri (Explosion 16U Greg). Bobby Flores (Explosion 14U), Chris Morgan (Explosion 18U Morgan) and Jim Ziese (Choppers 16U) will all be assisting in the workout.

There will be colleges there from the SEC, Pac 12 etc and mid major schools.

and that he goes beyond the call to help others achieve.
He could just call it good,,but nope.
What is not to like about that.

Really? You don't see the point? Uno's post specifically said that Brett's clinic is THIS WEEK. You thought it was still open for signup? Ok.
To me, the point of this post is to let everyone know that there are still many good people working in this game. Too many disgruntled posters like Hurricane constantly bash coaches and managers, and not enough is said about the vast majority of positive people in it to help the girls.

Shhhhh. Don't tell anyone I told you this. But if you can take the CLUE. Numero has just let you in on one of the key recruiting vehicles available to kids. Yeah, too bad the current camp is full. If you are smart ... that immediately becomes how do you get in the next one. Start your email with "Bret, Hey we really wanted to get into your current camp and are bummed to find it is full. Can you please put us down for your next camp. ...."
