Help Please,
My DD has sent out letters to several colleges. She is getting responses and some want a video. Who is out there, what is the cost, should her TB coach be setting this up?? Can some one point us in the right direction? I'm just a single mom and I don't wnat to get racked over the coals in this. I want to find the right set up for my DD.

Where are you? There is a guy on here that is advertising $75, but that is very cheap. I've seen most here in TX in the 250-400 range.

Do you have a camcorder and editing software? If so, try shooting yourself. The comment I have heard most from coaches is that this video doesn't need to be elaborate or the best-of moments. They want to see her skills, not dads production genius.

If not, try local batting instructors (who commonly have video equipment) or 18G coaches or even a friend with a camcorder. May be cheaper.

My 2 other suggestions would be to spend some time on YouTube and have a dis-interested 3rd party honestly assess the video before it goes out. There may be a bad habit that you don't see.

YouTube video's are funny. Some just make you shake your head in disbelief that anyone would send that crap out. Some are very good.

If you do have a friend or someone who is not used to shooting these, get with someone and have a plan for the video. There are criteria- intro, length, # of shots, # of angles, etc., that coaches want to see.
