So Cal to Boulder

What's on your mind?

by dodgerblue » Mon Jun 11, 2012 11:06 am

Looking for some good places to stop and stay on our way to Boulder. Good places to stay and where to avoid staying appreciated. Looking at driving about 10 hours first day then staying somewhere then drive into Boulder from there. Thanks

You can drive about 10 hours or so and stay in Grand Junction, Co. This city is right before you make your trip through the mountains. Quite a few hotels there, not sure of what is good or isn't good, but you can go on Tripadvisor.com and read the reviews. Hope this helps!

We have stopped at Glenwood Springs, it is a nice historic town. Notably, it is where Doc Holliday is buried.

Under the comments section of the video, a translation:

Doc Holliday: In vino veritas (In wine is truth) (When I'm drinking, I speak my mind)
Johnny Ringo: Age quod agis (Do what you do best) (Drink)
Doc Holliday: Credat Judaeus apella, non ego (The Jew Apella may believe it, not I) This was an insult because Ringo was supposed to be from a bloodline of jews and hated it.
Johnny Ringo: Eventus stultorum magister. (Events are the teachers of fools) (Fools have to learn by experience)
Doc Holliday: In pace requiescat (Rest in peace) ('s your funeral)

There you go, if you have every wondered about that scene.....
