Am I seeing this right? Why the heck is PowerSurge '95 playing in the 12U division? The world series is over, right? So why play down or am I missing something?

I don't think you can carry berths from one division to another. I could be wrong it has happened once or twice. If you qualify in 12's your berth is for 12s only. Does anyone know if this is correct?

For Triple Crown you can. If you qualify at 12U and your team moves up to 14U you can take that berth. Triple Crown on requires that you play in one of the Tournaments as a 14U team.

That's why I said about. I've only been in travel for about 4 years. Crap, 5, SIGH, I'm starting to lose my mind. I think it is your picture, gives me the hebbie gebbies still.

You may not need to earn a berth to the TCSWS in Park City and buy your way in, but does that make any sense for a team to do that. I think Ground Zero did it that way last year and traveled all the way to Utah, they came in last place (50ish something) in the 14u. If you are not good enough to place and earn a berth in local tournaments, what makes you think your team will do better in the world series?
