“See the Light of Sunday Morning”- Bruce Atherton Friendly
Bruce has been involved in the community of Lake Elsinore through the Lake Elsinore Girls Softball league and Temescal Canyon High School for many years. Whether Bruce was umpiring, coaching or just hanging around the fields telling stories; he has mentored and help mold the lives of 1,000’s of young athletes (and a few parents and coaches, as well!) and been a great friend to countless others.

Bruce was recently diagnosed with cancer and has had to be hospitalized several times during the last month due to complications of this devastating disease. He is currently recovering from surgery and will begin treatment in the very near future.

Minors Gold- Lovelace will be hosting a 12U/14U friendly at Tuscany Hills Park in Lake Elsinore on Sunday January 20th with all proceeds to be given to Bruce and his family (his wife Eileen and daughter Erin) to help with some of the expenses they have encountered.

The games will be held at Tuscany Hills Park located at the corner of La Strada and Summerhill Dr in Lake Elsinore- 92532. Cost is $45 per game (please supply a game ball). There will be a 50-50 drawing, raffle prizes and a full snack bar. Please help us support Bruce and his family!
