Anderson Bat Q & A

What's on your mind?

by pafan » Mon Mar 22, 2010 6:38 am

Seek and ye shall find. I just found the 42 page Anderson thread that seems to be addressing this K-series bat. So, am I right to conclude that the 2011 Anderson KX Rockettech has the "launch pad" design of the Nanotek, but is the end-loaded version?

I am looking at purchasing the new Nanotek for my daughter but have a questiong.
I have heard that most Rocket Techs are end loaded. Is the new nanotek end loaded?

No, the RockeTech does not have a LaunchPad. The RFP is not part of either the NanoTek or the KX series?

There is a KXS, KXT,and a KXP but those are all single wall baseball bats. there is a KSP which is a Slowpitch singlewall bat. there is a KFP which is a Fastpitch singlewall. There is no such thing as a KX-RockeTech. The Kinetic eXchange or KX-series are all single wall.

(This was updated after I talked with our marketing group. I was mistaken,)

Nope, it's a very balanced bat.

As always, thanks for clearing things up, Tumblebug. You might want to take a look at this (which is where I saw it):

And which has the greater sweet spot? Nanotek or RT?

Tumblebug (or others) can you give me an idea of how well the Nanotek dampens vibrations (i.e. will it deaden like a traditional composite or sting the hands like a traditional all metal bat)

Bought in Feb. Nanotech Fastpitch 33/23 for daughter. Noticed yesterday a "pebble like" sound in the barrel when turning it over from top to bottom.

Should I be concerned? Thanks

This happened to my NanoTek (slowpitch softball), as well.

It's just epoxy broken loose from the endcap. Nothing to be concerned about. Shouldn't affect the bat's performance in the slightest.

I agree that it will not affect the bats performance at all but can be removed by an ump in ASA championship play. That is a great bat
