Inappropriate Music

What's on your mind?

by phxfan » Mon Mar 23, 2009 9:44 am

I really liked the music being played in Vegas by 1 team. I thought it was very motivational for the girls. However, more than 1 time some of the girls in the dugout changed the song as explicit language was being played. Not cool. The owner of the playlist should take care to properly prepare for a tournament where other people's children will be at.

Love the new avitar Arto!!!! Um dada um dodo um dada um Do..... Well back to the question at hand? I say no. I think it takes something away from the game. Much of this game is what we hear. Gloves poping, bats cracking, the sound of the girls cheering or calling plays. If they want to play it before or after games that is fine but not while other games are going on. As far as content, it should be appropriate for all ages. There are many toddlers & childern that are there to cheer on their siblings. If they wanted to hear music they would've brought the "Ghetto Blaster" Remember this is Girls Fastpitch not Men's slowpitch...

What's next??? A mid game performance by Sir Mx Alot with the 2 Live Crew Dancers. Parents freaking in the stands.

That video's a little too risque for my taste.
There is no charge for awesomeness
...or attractiveness.

thanks MF! I do what i can...got the idea from one of Ace's post yesterday...

seriously, i think if grandma, or aunt sue, or cousin debbie has come out to watch in the stands, they should be able to have a nice balanced experience. they shouldnt have to listen to a dad screaming about his kid not batting, a mom screaming at the ump, a drunk guy screaming at everyone, etc. or loud music that lessens their experience at the park.
i guess it comes down to common courtesy and having consideration for others.
Deserve's got nothin' to do with it.

The loud music is probably preventable, TD's or police can get rid of the drunk, the rest is somewhat inevitable. :D

Once again Art, get a handle on it
