I think it's a neat deal at a good price, I hope they do well and continue to offer this, I just think it's tough to front $9,000 to a place for your team when all they can show you so far is a computer graphic of what it will look like.
I agree and I'm from not far away from there. It's not a convenient place to fly to. And as far as season goes, I'd have to agree, someplace maybe in the SW would have been better. I'm guessing they wanted to try and be as centrally located as possible. It's still nearly 3hrs drive from a major airport. But for the cost and what you get, it looks like a helluva time.

Travel to the complex is relatively easy. Fly into OMA and the complex is 25 minutes away. That's a far cry from 3hrs.
It does look like a great deal and a helluva time!

You should add their Facebook page and see the progress of their complex. Looks like all of the fields are sodded, fenced and lighted.
I was talking more about availability and price. Nonstops from LAX to OMA aren't exactly plentiful and cheap. LAX to MCI which is what I was sort of getting at, is easier to come by.

I just ran a quick flight search for you. LAX to MCI is roughly $300 that is the same price as it is to OMA. Then I also looked at Southwest and even though they aren't booking that far in advance, flights leaving on a Monday and returning on a Saturday are $97 each way. That is just to give you an idea.

Damn... I got schooled. I figured it would be a 2 layover flight from one of the coasts, and not cheap. Guess Omaha isn't as isolated as I thought.
