What's on your mind?

Pathetic.

Personal Responsibility, your table is ready.

Can you say "FRIVOLOUS", if the court system allows this then every kid and their parent will sue every sports organization they played in. It's part of the game and we all know it. Maybe we will have to start signing injury waivers upon making a TB team.

Maybe they can go back and use the ASA insurance to get the medical treatment she has received.

It's likely the girl would have a much stronger case if she sued her father.

You can look up the court docket since it is a public record. The case was filed In Pro Per, meaning they don't have an attorney. Maybe they took it to a lawyer and were told they had no case, but they decided to file it by themselves. So acting as their own lawyer, they have a fool for a client.

It should have been filed Non Compos Mentis, meaning "we are not of sound mind."

I’m sure they will find some ambulance chaser to take the case.

They can at least sell the story to the media…. “Stupid parents needs others to see for the safety of their child”.

While I side with the camp that thinks pitchers are called upon to throw too many innings this is absolutely ridiculous. Where were her parents for all those years when they let , or even made, her pitch.;

My thoughts exactly.

Questions for the plaintiff:
1. Did either of your parents ever coach a team you were on? If yes, what percentage of innings did you pitch in games where your parent(s) were coaching?
2. How many times did you ask to be rested, but was forced to pitch anyways?
3. Were you ever removed from a game in favor of another pitcher? If so, what was your reaction? What was the reaction from your parents?
4. What was your practice routine when not playing?
5. What was your typical post game routine after pitching?
6. Did you or your parents ever discuss taking time off from the sport?
7. Did you ever voluntarily take time off?
8. When did you first become aware of any injury to your shoulder? Did you continue to pitch afterward?

Your Honor, the defense rests.

The torn labrum was probably done in college where some schools have the football trainers train the softball players in the weight room. I have heard a few schools changing there weight lifting program because they are seeing to many torn labrums and they think it is due to the way they are training the girls.
