14U STATE DRAW TONIGHT

What's on your mind?

by DntEventrip » Mon Jun 02, 2008 4:00 pm

Good Luck to Every team at tonight's State Draw Tonight. I know that a good Draw can actually impact the outcome of the placings. Have a Great Week, and I will Be there to Watch some GREAT competition. I have one question. If I am correct teams that currently have a berth to nationals already can still compete. From What I understand, there is one team that opted to compete. Anyone know what team this is? I do not agree with this rule, due to the fact that a team that has a berth already can knock a great team into the losers bracket after the first or second game. It is very difficult to come back from that type of loss!!! I think it's just wrong.....Anyhow Good luck to all the teams that are attempting to get a berth, and If you have a berth already, drop out, it's only right...There are plenty of teams that have berths and have decided not to compete, Big Up to those teams. If you are in it for the competition, there a tons of great friendlies/Tournaments you can join to prepare you for NATIONALS.

Here are the top teams there this weekend in no particular order:

OC Wildcats 94'
American Stars
Hurricanes
Victory USA 93'
Irvine Sting 93'
American Athletics 94'

Please feel free to add any teams you may think can get a berth. I apologize if I forgot anyone. there are plenty great teams out there who I may not have heard of.

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!

Who is going to be able to post the brackets on heybucket tonight? If you can't figure out how to do it send Spazsdad an e-mail, not sure if you all know this but he is a genius 8-)

I didn't know that for sure, but I met him briefly on Saturday and I could definitely feel a genius vibe emanating from his direction.

I think the "emanation" was from being downwind of the bathrooms.

All 35 of them. At Brookfield you couldn't access a bathroom for love or money without packing an overnight bag for the trek, and at Winchester the one small building had about 10 doors leading to separate bathrooms (okay 4, but who's counting?).

It was an embarrassment of riches...and, apparently, genius-level aroma. ;)

at Brookfield, alas, with their 35 toilets 35 minutes away (on foot).

Not sure when ASA will post the whole draw?

Ended up with 70 teams, GL to all!
Don't worry about tomorrow. You did that yesterday.

This will proably sounds bad but here goes. I hope that Renegades (sandberg) goes 0-2 because they already have a berth to nationals and I would hate it if they eliminate any team who does not. I know ASA rules allow them to play but just is not fair to the teams they may eliminate.
