So Cals Finest Zoom into June On Deck Camp

Preface: I'm new to this as my DD is a 2015 so my "coach awareness" is certainly not polished and I could easily have missed them. That said here was my experience:

We started playing at 4:45 on Saturday afternoon at Winchester and I saw scouts from maybe 8-10 schools. I didn't see any from a major Div I university.

Sunday we started play at DV at 1:15 and I saw about the same number of scouts around the fields we were at/near (6-7-8) and didn't really notice any big names unless you consider Boston U, UMass, Penn and Hawaii-Hilo as big names.

From the other comments, the learning moments for me are that I should have signed up my daughter for the camp on Friday and I should pray that we either get early games on Saturday if we're not at DV or hope that we're playing at some point at DV on Saturday, preferably earlier.

Summary: The comments I read here indicate that the majority of scouts were at the camp and at DV on Saturday, especially early.
