Great time and great food in stockton. RR put on another good one. Seems an unusual number of serious shots takien by umps, where are the D1 bound catchers to match these pitchers? On break? I have two huge bruises myself. Several Umps comparing their war wounds. I worked several teams.. So Cal Choppers with their UCLA bound pitcher, (George) Bustos Elite, RR, both Firecracker Teams, Strike Zone Etc.. some real good ball and several homers and more than a few web gem defensive plays. Great time a Louis Park.

I heard Mizuno Pride, Victory USA 95(oc impact) and bomb squad all played this weekend, any results?

Fort Worth Batbusters Montoya beat Texas Fusion 14U in the Championship game 2-1. It was a great game, good hits and the pitching was great!

It was great weekend to watch some ball in Southlake, Texas!

You can tell the teams are watered down from the freshman filled super 18G machines that I saw at the 18G qualifier before nationals.

Sorcerers (phil) and Fire crackers (john) looked good. Choppers looked good. Runnin Rebs looked darn good and were awesome hosts. I didnt get to see the oc athletics, AASA, Grappettes, or mizuno pride. .. all teams I wouldnt have minded seeing. I worked Pool A & B at Louis.

I saw a lot of real work by coaches to showcase their unsigned players (which may account for the umpire bruising by uncatchers). Saw LOTS of college scouts. I heard lots of talk of getting everyone in the game.

I usually like to give props to the best F2 I saw.. so this tourney its gonna be #4 on the Choppers. The best arm I saw all weekend. Effortless pickoffs. Great solid job behind the plate. D1's are missing out on that catcher, thats for sure.

#4 on Choppers is already committed to Pacific.
