Favorite Local Board

Everyone knows the bucket is the #1 board in the country, but I'm curious to know your favorite local board.

The de facto king of the boards in the Chicago area is the Lemont Rockers board http://members4.boardhost.com/RockersSoftball/, it gets quite a bit of activity. While it is dysfunctional, hard to follow, ruled by an iron fist of a man who is called "The Mayor" I have to say it is entertaining from time to time. When the locals get out of line bashing kids by name or attacking his favorite coaches, he clamps down and will only allow posts on the board after he approves them. He routinely removes posts or threads and every Monday he wipes the entire thing clean and the mayhem all starts anew. Occasionally it gets overun by political posting and the typical liberal vs conservative bashing is like watching a train wreck. Bill Conroy, who is our most notable figurehead in the Chicago Area often has something to say. Most of the time the bashing is in good clean fun.

It can be a fun board but I swear it's run by a woman with multiple bouts of PMS each and every month. No rhyme or reason as to what gets deleted and what stays, just a moody person behind the curtain.

When the rocker board gets "Mayorized" (posts go into an approval que) posters should come here to post on the Illinois board and let that place turn into a dust bowl.
