Might be, thanks for asking. Just hoping it keeps sliding north, but then our Victoria/Pt Lavaca/Houston friends are wishing just the opposite.

Today, the weather couldnt be nicer, for here anyway, humidity 130%, temp aroung 150, and lots of mosquitos.

Corpus Christi. Ike was pointed really pretty much right at us for awhile, but its moving more to the north. What the weather guys say is that it will move to the north until mid tomorrow, then make a move right at Corpus for a while then swing back to the north and go in around Port Lavaca (70 miles up the coast from Corpus). When you look at the pictures of the Texas coastline, Corpus Christi Bay is the second big bay up the coast from Mexico.

I wake up this morning and now the forecasters are saying Ike is headed right for my county (South of Houston). The most irritating thing? Round Robin was cancelled for Sunday.

I guess they are saying that we should start getting some of the wind gusts Friday afternoon.
