On behalf of Spazsdad, I will thank God for me.
Hug your girls and be thankful that they are healthy enough to be playing ball. Thankful to have both my DDs home for the weekend and even though my college DD is on crutches and in a boot (and will hopefully be able to play her last year of ball), I am thankful that they are otherwise well.
I get regular reminders to be thankful for our health as a patient of mine just finished her 3rd course of palliative radiation, in the middle of which she celebrated her 13th birthday.
Like I said, give them some extra hugs, even if they look at you funny.
Happy Thanksgiving, a joyous holiday season and, above all, a healthy 2015.
I see no hope for the future of our people if they are dependent on the frivolous youth of today, for certainly all youth are reckless beyond words.
