Mizzou moves there for the 2012-2013 year.

"Missouri, the reigning Big 12 regular season champions, welcomes back 11 letterwinners from 2011's WCWS squad. Among the 11 returning players are four All-Big 12 honorees, including 2011 Big 12 Pitcher of the Year Chelsea Thomas. The Tigers posted a 53-10 overall record and went 15-3 in Conference play last season. MU led the league in doubles (84), team pitching (1.26), opponent batting average (.166) and wins (46). Mizzou finished the 2011 campaign ranked sixth in the USA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25, the highest final ranking in program history.

Coming off their sixth WCWS appearance and first since 2004, the Sooners return 12 letterwinners. including All-Big 12 honoree Keilani Ricketts. The junior broke the school season record for strikeouts. Ricketts also retired an OU single-game record 19 batters in the Sooners' regional win over Iona. Head coach Patty Gasso, a 2012 NFCA Hall of Fame inductee, earned her 800th win during the 2011 campaign. "

Oklahoma wins

Agree. Texas finishes worse than 3rd and OSU finishes better than 6th.

I think Mizzou wins, Oklahoma is 2nd, Baylor is 3rd and Texas is 4th.

I like Mizzou a lot, but Mizzou had better not overlook Oklahoma or Mizzou will end up disappointed.

Oklahoma had a ton of young talent last year, and they under-performed in 1 or 2 key games. If they fix that this year they will definitely give Mizzou all Mizzou can handle.

OU gets my nod, but there is a huge upset brewing if a pitching staff produces.

1. OU- Ricketts, a healthy Schults, and top recruit Chamberlain. She's going to need the position players to step up their hitting or we're going to see a lopsided lineup.

2. Missouri- The ONLY reason I put them @2 is Chelsea Thomas. Marston is a difference maker, but I move them down on the loss of their seniors (most notably Vock, Christopher, and... Rhea). 10 Freshman, 22 rostered, and 4 starters returning. Luckily the returners are a P and most of the IF.

3. Texas- While Baylor has the better ace down the stretch IMO, you can't look past Luna, Texas' experience, better recruiting, and most of all, their bats. I second guess their coaching every year and this year is no different. They have recruited top kids and have gotten most of them to produce, but only brought in 2 FR and 1 of those is a pitcher??? What is Plan B if the injury bug hits?

4. A&M- This may be too low. Jumped them ahead of Baylor because I think they are more talented all the way through, but Dumezich needs help for them to go all the way. If the pitching staff can get it done, I would move them up to #2 or #3. I'm a big Villareal fan and think the FR/SO's will make noise. (Go LT!)

5. Baylor- Baylor's upperclassmen are good, but can they get their youngin's to produce, and there's a lot of them. Hitting coach & players have to put up better numbers 1-9. THE most painful thing to watch last year in post season was Baylor- Canion throwing her heart out and her offense not producing.

5-9 Agree. OSU took a huge hit losing Gearhart and Hamilton, don't think we'll see them go as far this year.

3 dominant aces and 3 proven "finesse" pitchers sqaure off in 3 weeks, can't wait!!
