Welcome to our new Regional Format
PGF is pleased to officially announce the launching of its new Regional Fastpitch Softball program. The Regional System is a completely new and separate softball program from our current National Championship system, held each year in Huntington Beach, California.

We have fielded numerous inquiries over the past two years as to when PGF will come to their state or community. We realized that there are a vast number of teams from across the United States that are only interested in playing in their own individual states and regions. Because of your interest in being part of the PGF family we are launching our new Regional program today! Find out more by clicking here.

The Country has been divided into Seven (7) PGF Regions. Regional and State Directors have been established in many parts of the country. We are still filling Regional and State positions to well qualified individuals. If you are interested in a State Director position, please email your Regional Director or email our corporate headquarters at dan.hay@premiergirlsfastpitch.com.

Hey! Did you know that you can sanction your event through PGF?
Yes it is true, in addition to our new Regional format we will be offering you the ability to sanction your local event, tourney or showcase through PGF. More info on just how easy this will be for you, is coming out soon, so stay tuned.

Sincerely,

Dan Hay, President/CEO

PGF is in the process of updating its website. They have more information about how the regional and state events will run at http://www.premiergirlsfastpitch.com/re ... eamble.php.

That new webpage erroneously said teams will have to purchase PGF insurance for the National Qualifiers, but it has been corrected.

That new webpage also says teams will have to purchase PGF insurance for the National Qualifiers.

Website has been corrected. We do not require PGF insurance for all qualifiers. Players do need to register PGF for qualifiers. Teams attending Nationals will be required to purchase PGF insurance just like last year.

Any idea when National Qualifier dates and locations will be announced? Trying to plan 2013 Schedules for all our teams.

Ugh, they scheduled the NW qualifier the same weekend as Colorado Freedom tournament. Who's idea was that? So now we have to choose between trying to qualify for a high quality tournament, or just going to one that we've already been invited too...no brainer...

We are excited to offer a level of play for those developing teams and teams that are geographically challenged to take advantage of the beautiful weather and facilities in Southern California.
Teams that compete in this division will have the opportunity to play good competition at a level where they can legitimately contend for a National Championship on the same facilities at the same time as the Premier Division.
These teams will participate in the outstanding opening ceremonies, they will receive the same gifts and most importantly, they will compete in front of the same hundreds of college coaches.

Sincerely,

Gary Haning

OK, call me crazy. And I guess pointing out the obvious makes me an ASA homer again, despite not working an ASA National in three years, and working the Premier HS Division Championship each of those three.

But doesn't this 8 day schedule in each age group (Saturday to Saturday) now match the "just too ridiculously long" ASA (Sunday to Sunday) schedule??

I don't care whose tournaments you prefer, but the actual functional differences are getting fewer and smaller all the time.
