I heard they are going to try to post it Tuesday or Wednesday, the boys need a little rest after a lot of hard work and a lot of hours.

Both Lockman and Sota were sent to the losers bracket early on by a surprising Cal Thunder team. Kudos to Cal Thunder for knocking down 2 teams that most everyone thought would at least go further into the winners bracket if not winning the whole thing. I was told they were able to get key hits in each game and hold off the potent offenses of both teams. After getting a win in the losers bracket, Lockman went down to Blanco. Sota got a couple of wins in losers bracket then got ousted by Georgia Impact. Sota had been ahead in the 6th 3-0 I believe (I had figured they had it handled and went off to get ready for our game) but the next thing I could see was bases loaded for GI and they went and tied the game. Sota couldn't generate any more runs and GI got the next run for a 4-3 win. It was that kind of week for the 14s. Very exciting and you couldn't be sure who would advance. And that's why the game is played - everyone has a chance - its up to the girls to go out there and get it! Great job by everyone!

I understand that CA-Lockman's all world pitcher, R. Garcia, pitched at Premier for 16u Corona Angels - Knighten (who finished 2nd)
