Fields for 14u & 16u

Questions and discussions involving PGF

by softball4everandever » Sat Jul 07, 2012 11:21 pm

What are possible field locations for 14u&16u I'm sure families have relatives coming and would like to know where teams may play in the city of Irvine & elsewhere. Thanks for any info!

14U will play most of their games at Harvard and some at Bill Barber in Irvine.

I was surprised to see some of the 14u pools are playing @ FV. I guess fields 1 & 2 weren't available at Harvard Park.

How far is it between Harvard Park and Fountain Valley. I see about a quarter of the field in 14's will be playing at F.V. That will help some of the colleges out scouting.

Harvard Park in Irvine is about 20 minutes away (down the 405) from the Fountain Valley fields.

Give yourself plenty of driving time, one thing Califoria does not lack are cars on the 405, 91, 5, 22, 55, 605, 710 etc

traffic sucks here and summer is bad lots of outsider

Thanks for the maps on the fields and on the driving. If my GPS says it takes 20 min. I will allow myself at least 45 to be safe. Can't wait to get there, too hot & humid up here.
