I deleted the old Social Security # post, it was just to long

The PGF web site has been updated

PGF has listened and has reworked the original registration policy and you can now register with birth certificates or Social Security #s

This change was posted a few days ago and since then they had around 240 players register, only one so far used the birth certificate.

They need SS# or birth certificates to verify age to play in a national tourney, is that what you are asking?

Again.. if birth certificates are acceptable id then why are we even talking about ss#? For that matter if the age old standard for age id (birth certificates) is ok then why even have sportsageid? You could have avoided this whole mess. Fricken genius.

Then you have 239 players who's IDs have been placed at risk needlessly.

I am pleased to hear the PGF made the change back to birth certificate. I do have one question; PGF is asking for the certificate to be faxed, which is not an issue. However, if they are asking you to upload a picture why not provide the option of upload the cert?

Sorry I can't answer your question, PGF will have to answer that.

I don't believe those SS# are at risk it is a secure site, but that is just my opinion.
