This is great news. Certainly a boon for all teams coming to Premier.

An org that listens to its clientele?

Whodathunkit?

I'm sure MTR will race in here and tell us why this is still not right and how ASA is somehow superior, though.

A boon? You still have to buy PGF insurance if you're coming. How is that a boon? What is a boon, anyway? Like a boondoggle?
Ladies, if a man tells you he will fix it, he will fix it. There is no reason to remind him about it every six months.

Should have read through, but yes, certainly it is a "boon" or a blessing if you will that a team
playing in a qualifier does NOT have to pay an additional 11 or 12 dollars per player.
Economically, that works for me.

So an injury that takes place at a qualier is somehow differently insured than the injury that takes place at the national tournament?

You still have to pay 10 or 11 bucks per player as ALL PLAYERS AND COACHES will need to REGISTER with Premiere. You just wont need to buy their insurance for the qualifiers if you already have another insurance.

last year I had 3 teams try to qualify Premiere. 1 did, 3 didnt. After the one qualified, i had to go and purchase Premiere Insurance for the team that qualified. This is what is going to be in place for this year also.

As far as why one is good enough for the qualifier and not good enough for the national tourney???? No clue.

In any event, i am pleased with this change in policy.

PGF - Nice first volley to end the 2012 Insurance Wars. A company that listens and is responsive to its' customers is a company focused on success. Question: if non-PGF insurance is good enough for PGF Qualifiers, why isn't it accepted for championships? If it's because PGF gets a kickback on selling their preferred insurance, and thus it's a revenue issue, just charge teams the kickback amount as a premium to play. Making money is ok, wasting money sucks.
