How far do you travel?

by Norcal Iceman » Sun Dec 20, 2009 12:44 am

Saturday practice - 1 mile round trip. :D I have to pinch myself. Wednesday practice - 40 mile round trip. Still not too bad. Can't believe some of these parents that travel major bokoo miles just to get their kid to practice. Must have plenty of time & money to do it; both of which I neither have.

12 miles round trip. We are lucky. Can barely handle all the travelling/driving for tournaments. Have driven round trip to So Cal more in the last two years than I had in the previous 40+ yrs of my life...

600 miles RT. Three weekends out of the month. I wish she could sing and dance.

I drive between 114 to 192 miles round trip to practice and to a field that we play at a lot.

A lot of times if I have to drive the 192 round trip route I spend the night.

We drive 106 miles round trip to hitting every other week, and I have a batting cage in my back yard.

It takes less than 1 hour coming home with no traffic and up to 2.5 miles on the way to hitting with traffic.

crazy :)

Maybe 7 miles each way and we are lucky to have a good program and hitting facility close by. Two of our players come to San Jose from Napa and Santa Rosa. Don't know how they do it, but give them credit for their commitment!
