I know - its crazy here, big headlines on the local paper, Cowboys - Season Saver. Gimme a break, the two teams are so pitiful , they are both 3 and 5 or they were. And the Houston Texans who were 7-1 beat the Bears (my wife's team) 7-1 and its buried in the back of the sports. Maybe JJ owns the local paper.

...and 3 Vince Lombardi Trophies...

I guess thats the point. To be real honest, half the time, I dont even think about that Houston has a team, and I still think -the Oilers - . But my girls live in Houston now, so I guess I will get more used to the Houston Texans.

I would really like to see how Romo responds under a real coach. When is JJ going to wake up and realize that JG is not it? It's not like JJ doesn't know how to hire a coach that can get them there because he did it in the 90s. I was watching a game where the running back went down (can't remember the game) and was really down but made the 2nd effort to bounce back to his feet and kept running. It was ruled that he wasn't down. I don't see that kind of effort from the Cowboys and that lays solely on the coach.

How about Cowher or Gruden.

I would take Cowher as a coach but I would never here the end of it from my Steeler buddies if they did anything  . I would take Gruden but don't think it would be much better than it is now. Could be wrong about that though. Besides, both are retired. I think Payton could be a free agent next year and has a proven record.

The bottom line is how do get rid of a) Jerry Jones, or even better, b) Jerry Jones ego. That is what cost us Jimmy Johnson and almost 10 years of having a football team that sucks.
