These Crazy So Cal Fires

by bucndranch » Sat Aug 29, 2009 10:43 pm

Just want to send our prayers for those fighting these crazy fires and for those who have lost their homes and who may lose their homes. The air quality was pretty bad today in many areas. Have not watched the news yet today, but it looks like they are still way out of control!

Wind shifted sometime over night, SFV now in layers of smoky air and ash. Best wishes to everyone up La Canada way.
Don't worry about tomorrow. You did that yesterday.

I will post a couple pictures from my house in the next couple days. The entire mountain looking out my front door is on fire.

NU, whatever you do, don't let the HB servers catch on fire!! :o
j/k j/k ;)

Good luck up there, watching the smoke billow from down where we're at, and no doubt it's nasty... best to you and your neighbors!

Serious stuff here. The blum of cloud smoke last evening around 6:30pm PST just above NU's house on the mountain is the biggest I had ever seen. I mean MASSIVE like a bomb went off. Wow, check in NU.... let us know how it went. I know it would need to burn alot of homes to get to yours but it must be utter chaos in your neighborhood. that had to be more then 1/2 mile from you. i took a picture from 8 miles away ill post later.. WOW.

thinkin of ya bro.... check in..
