The draw is this Tuesday and their are only 45 teams, how many teams played last year? Seems pretty low for state.

Don't forget there are 3 teams that aren't going because they already have a berth (AA-Palomino, OCBB-Snow, CA-Lockman)

With money tight with so many folks this year, perhaps teams are choosing between going to Utah or Western Nats instead of planning to do both, so they are skipping States and going to the Triple Crown Tourny next weekend in Laguna instead.. See confirmed team list below:

12 AND UNDER
1. American Athletics-Mission Viejo,CA-paid
2. HB Breeze 97-Huntington Beach,CA-paid
3. Sidewinder Fastpitch-Chino,CA-paid
4. So Cal Hurricanes-Santa Ana,CA-paid
5. Ventura Co. Venom-Camarillo,CA-paid
6. OC Magic-Trabuco Canyon,CA-paid
7. Irvine Inferno-Irvine,CA-paid
8. Ozone Gold-Oceanside,CA-paid
9. The Academy-Escondido,CA-paid
10. AZ Cats 96-Tucson,AZ-paid
11. So Cal Crunch(Brashear)-Ontario,CA-paid
12. Corona Angels(Lockman)-Corona,CA-paid
13. So Cal Extreme Heat-Menifee,CA-paid
14. Lights Out-Menifee,CA-paid
15. Artesia Punishers-Artesia,CA-paid

With money being tight, what is everyone's opinion on where to go? Is there going to be more teams at Westerns this year than last?
