Draw is already completed. We have a couple of teams from the Central Cal Metro who are not registered yet. All CCASA teams must be registered to play. We were asked by the JO to give them a few more days to get their paper work in order. If not, we will contact teams on the waiting list to fill their spots.

Best estimate is we should see the Pools and game times by the middle of next week.

Why would CCASA care is this going to be a qualafier? Or just ASA sanctioned?

This is an ASA saction tournament which CCASA assigns a representative to attend. All teams are required to be ASA registered, but CCASA can only check Central Cal.

That is because in 14u you have all the HS players out. So it would be crazy to have a qualifier in an age division that will not even resemble what it will look like at this tournament, after the HS season ends.

I always wish this tourney could be held a little later so the HS kids could play in it.

Since they changed the date for the age cutoff about 9 years ago, it basically created 2 distinct seasons for 14u. The half before HS ends, and the half after HS ends. Teams that are winning everything right now will drop a few rings on the ladder after HS ends.

Thanks for the hard work Intel. The sooner we can see the schedule the better. But isn't that always the case when travel is involved.
Well, you can do whatever you want to us, but we're not going to sit here and listen to you badmouth the United States of America.

The web site says the pool brackets will be posted after the 15th, what does that mean? :)
