Team AZ just got stronger with IMO, 1 of the top 3... 12U pitchers from last year....

Dont these teams take a break?? I have never understood why ASA and the others post tournaments so soon after Nationals/Tryouts. 80% of these kids will burn out, quit playing, before a college coach ever sees them if not given time to be a kid. I guess some of the teams playing maybe wrapped up their season in June and have had their break?

Fair question ...... We began our break right after the Sparkler ended in early July. I told the girls we were taking a month off, and they were none too pleased with me! Many of them took their "break" by working out at the local softball academy a few days each week.
Next year, we will play ASA/USA Nationals, Premier, or Western Nationals, so we will most likely not being playing in the Annual Labor Day Tournament.

I should of guessed, but those who play TCS for a year end event finish about a month before the ASA bound teams. Thanks DTCoach, and it sounds like you have a 'crazy about softball team', good news for you! Also a sign of a great coach!!

Mad DOG99 u don't know me. I find it funny u think I'm your best friend. I read the boards ever day to know whats going on. I love to hear what boneheads like u have say. One more thing your info on your ranking sound alot like your boys ranking.
