dd and a school teammate are going Thr. Her coach gave them to them.
A government handout. Next year she will be entitled to not just go, but play.

PS She and I are in love with the 23u summer league in So Cal. Our own popery of talent from all spectrums of college ball playing for fun.

I agree Safebyahare. The So Cal 23u league is fun. My DD is a D3 pitcher playing with team Molly. Just a bunch of ex- Irvine Sting players having fun playin ball. Kinda like they did in rec ball. Laughing and joking around. One dad told me he thought he might have his two girls leave for a more serious team. He had second thoughts because playing college ball is hectic enough. The girls need to have fun playing for a least this 6 week period of time.

Have to agree with safebyahare and yosoftball18, my kid is also having fun playing in the women's league for a few weeks. Real low key, just the girls having fun and getting some reps.
Also got to see Dugout Dad, and his co-coach, AND got to meet the legendary safebyahare in person!

World Cup, would love to catch some games, as I live about 10 miles away from Bill Barber park, but no way am I going to pay $30.
Deserve's got nothin' to do with it.

I believe General admission are $15. That is the bleachers behind the outfield fence. Not bad if you stay for more than one game.

Remember that old chick flick "You've Got Mail".
Remember at the end when Meg Ryan is at the park and finally meets the one that has been posting..
Remember how happy, awe struck, and overwhelmed she was with joy.
Meeting Artomatic and DuboutDad was nothing like that silliness.

I do enjoy the smile it puts on my face to meet these Giants. Not just to put a face on the post, but to talk first hand, and hear about their dds and to get to see them play.
I am really enjoying this summer.
