My understanding is there is going to be a big tournament in Houston opposite Bomber Shootout to pull teams that way. Plus, Bombers won't be allowed to play this year as they are working the tournament and given results from this last weekend you have to consider them in the hunt from Central Texas along with the Blaze.
Top teams
Houston - Humble 99, TPS 99, Kingwood has always been reasonably strong but haven't heard much this fall, Hearing lots from Crossfire but haven't seen them play. Probably have to include Pasadena in the list.
Dallas - from what I have watched there - Kruzers, NT Rampage, Glory will be a question in the spring once the 98's move on, Threat.
Central and the rest of Texas - Blaze and Bombers, Anderson Express 99 probably gets consideration in this group.
Anyone else???
I would say that Crossfire and the Pasadena Angels would both be listed ahead of TPS99 and the Edge. Of course, Phantomz sent both of them home this past weekend. I didn't get to see the games, but heard there was a couple of homeruns hit in the Crossfire vs. Phantomz game, one for each team. Out of all the teams from the Houston area, I think that the Cobras will be the only ones to compete with the best of the best.
