2010 Bats

What's on your mind?

tumblebug,
I could not agree more about these companies that are nothing more than a marketing outlet reselling a bat with their logo on it. It is hard not to laugh at some of the terms used to con the players into using said bat. Like Temped Ballistic Alloy from Rip It, what a con job. It is a simple alloy bat and nothing more. Anderson on the other hand does make bats in-house and the Rocket Tech with the outside barrel was true and honest engineering, thus the success of that model.

On another note look at Nike. Funny how the bats used by Arizona are not the same bats we the public can buy. Oh, I understand a bat with same paint job and decals may be in the store but I can assure you it is not the same bat the cats are swinging.
Tumblebug is providing the softball world with a great product and even better customer service.

So is the nanotech on the new models? How are they performing? My DD has always had a RT but now that she is older I'm seeing less of them out there and now she wants a composite because of the success that the other girls are having with them. Is the new nanotech design the answer?

The FP NanoTek is not released yet. The slowpitch and baseball models are out and working well. The question whether or not they hit better than a composite bat can't be answered without hitting it cuz no one believes me. It starts hot out of the wrapper and stay there throughout the life of the bat. The slowpitch reviews so far are excellent.

Has anyone had any experience or heard anything about the Mizuno Frenzy2? Dont know the difference, if there is any, between the Frenzy or the CF4.

My daughter hit .423 last year with the Dora composite bat. I'm pretty sure it's just made in China and got the Dora logo on it, but you can't argue with the results.

She was talking about stepping up to the Barbie composite bat this coming season, but we'll have to wait and see if they show up on the ASA verboten list, before we lay out that kind of cash. 8-)
