Who is to say that Keilani would even come back next year. You are putting way to much emphasis on Keilani even playing. Wade, keep spouting all your anti-Gary venom. You are coming across as if you are truly worried about how this will affect ASA and you are right - you can and should be worried. Time will tell as to how the PGF procedes from here. The PGF could last only one year or it could be the place to go for years to come. Just because there will be invited teams that so far have been all top organizations for years in ASA, doesn't mean that the entire tournament is invited. There will be qualifiers across the country for the final 24-32 teams this year. I am sure that Gary and Co. are doing everything they can so as to not make this a GOB or just a So Cal tourney. My team is not invited as of yet but would always want to go where the best competition is - and so far it looks like PGF will have the best teams no matter what you say. There is no doubt that ASA will still draw some very good teams but top to bottom will not be what is was this year and in years past.
This is not anti gary venom. There is an alternate view point of this situation. I feel there is a real need to express it. Its not fall in line with Gary or its considered venom.
Lets say you are correct,(you arent) I was deathly worried ASA would collapse and Gary is going to ascend to the softball throne.. how would that matter in the big picture? Because, ASA is not going to collapse and Gary is not going to take the place as the national governator of softball, ok? Thats Rhetoric and Gary Messiah mumbo jumbo.
Best of luck to you Wade - by the way, were you the umpire that got hit in the head in the Stockton Gold Qualifer this year? Hope not.
No I wasnt but he is fine... (besides hes about 25 years older than me btw)
Best of luck to you too!
