A month left in the season and the 98's are already off the board.
If this is what we have to look forward to from the 99's, it is going to be an entertaining season on the Bucket.

You know Phantomz coach...why in the hell don't you worry about your own team and lay off of Lady Rage '98. If your team is so damn good then YOU should move them up to play "A" bracket in Florida. You want to talk about our coaches and them not knowing how to coach...well my friend as i recall in NB you just about shit in your pants when my husband had the girls bunt on your team with 2 strikes and bring in runs. The only thing you did in that tournament was show your girls how to quit when the going gets tough when you decided not to play Lady Rage in the championship game.

Really it is interesting that you come to watch the Texas Sting allot. We appreciate it. It seems you are at every game we play. Fan of the game I guess. What is your opinion of the Texas Sting, you seem to know softball fairly well ? ;)

I enjoy seeing the high level of play so when we aren't playing I'd rather watch a game then sit in CiCi's. You can learn alot from watching the coaching strategies plus it's always good to gauge where 88 is based on watching the other pitchers grow.
TX Sting we'll coached, consistent players, if anything theres probably a slight mental block when it comes to TPS that causes the error or 2 that swing the game they seem to sit more on their heels rather then powering forward.

I tried to troll it up a while back but Spring Sting was the last team to beat Tx Sting other then TPS in "pool" or bracket play since march in Deer Park with 88 and 15 pitching 5-3. ;)

I never said the coaches do not know how to coach, in fact I gave them kudos for their coaching. Bunting on two strikes can only be done with girls that have been playing a while and that would be the likes of the girls on your team. Mine will be able to do it some day, in fact we have been working on it. Maybe you should let the coach answer for himself as I think they are all very knowledgable and have never said anything different. I only questioned their reasoning behind playing B?? Ya'll were one of the top three or four teams in either division and if taking the championship trophy home from the B flight, then so be it. Not the same as taking it home from the A flight which is what my team will aspire to do next year when we are ALL second year players and take on the best of the best in ASA, maybe USFA as well. Like the TPS 98 team is trying to do this year. I have never said my team is so DAMN good, but good enough to take fourth out of twenty four teams in the B division, which was mostly 99 type teams. Except for ya'lls chicken team, the Flower Mound chicken team and the Sting chicken team.

I do not know where you get off saying I don't think your coaches know how to coach. maybe you read somebody else's post?? As for showing my team how to lose by forfeiting the championship game.... Not true. I was showing them some dignity by not letting you play another game that day. You didn;t belong in that tournament and I presume ya'll celebrated all night long over beating a bunch of 99 teams. I did not consider that the going had gotten rough, I decided we were overmatched and nobody can disagree. I would like to see your team play 6 or 7 games in one day.. ya'll would melt and would not make that many games. Of course, you probably have never had to because you choose tournaments with lesser competition so you don't get knocked to the loser's bracket.

There are always one or two teams like yours, but one of them will never be a team I am associated with because I know what is right and what is wrong. One of your coaches told me you couldn't play A because if he lost the big pitcher, ya'll would be up a creek. Now what is that teaching your girls. That it is all about the pitcher and nobody else??? I would never make that comment. Somebody even called Robert after agreeing to play A and said that ya'll just lost a pitcher and could not play A.. Just admit it, your a 98 team well qualified to play A but choose to play B because you are scared of the other 98 A ball teams.

Rock on and I hope and pray they make you play A in PC.

I have been coaching for a long time and played fastpitch in your backyard in my younger days so I know all about bunting with two strikes. Was just surprised that a team in a 99 tournament knew how to do it so well. It was a compliment that I now wish I had not given out. Seeing how arrogant your post was. I am not sure you reflect everybody else;s sentiments but I would not doubt it.

There is no reason we should have played A, but when I found out ya'll were not going to get moved out of the B division, I tried to get Robert to let me play A. It was too late as I would rather get beat by the A ball teams that signed up to play A.

Good luck to ya'll in PC, you do really have a good team, I just hate to see the talent wasted in a lower division. How will that help the girls out in the long run??

As for Really post about us not making it through the day. WRONG, we have proved that we can play all day long baby!!!
