Westerns with your team or nationals with another

At the beginning of the season the schedule passed out lists a couple of qualifiers and nationals.
After not qualifying in the first qualifier coach brings the players together and has them vote on Vegas (nationals) or Colorado (westerns), most players vote Colorado so coach says okay.

Well DD is pissed because she wanted to go to nationals and the team gave up with qualifiers left to play so now their not playing the qualifiers. For instance, instead of the qualifier in Redding their playing a USSSA tourny. If they at least played the qualifiers but didn't make it she would be good with westerns.

In the mean time another team that qualified at the tourny her team didn't wants her to go to nationals with them.

Speaking ASA, if her team is going to ASA Western Nationals, she cannot be a pickup player for a team going to ASA Nationals....ASA considers Western Nationals to be continuing in Championship play. She's stuck.

Why, because another team asked her to go to Nationals and she thought about it because the team she's with didn't stick to the agenda they handed out at the beginning of the season?

Why is it loyalty, commitment and honesty is only expected from the players and not the coach's yet the coach's are the one's that are grown adults?

There are alot of coach's out there that will lie through their teeth to get a player to join (some admittedly) and when the coach doesn't stick to what he said the player is still the one with no loyalty or commitment when they leave. Strange
