These 2 teams are in 12u (TS is actually with another organization now) and wont be in TN, you can bet on that.

The 2008 ASA Westerns berth for American Athletics went with the majority of the players up to 12u. This year's 10u AAs did, however, earn a berth for 2009 through So Cal ASA States and they will be in JC, TN.

Georgia Ambush and Georgia Impact Black qualified this weekend, one more berth left in Georgia.

I'm just a newb here, but I only see 5 states in the turney. Is this pretty much it, or an I missing something here? Seems kinda light. Just wondering.

Some states have just had their State Tournaments. I believe a few more this weekend.

When it is all said and done, there will be between 35- 50 teams at nationals this year

I believe the Fireballs from Blue Springs, MO are planning on attending as well. They won the KC Metros to qualify.

Just wondering how many good teams that qualified had to back out due to economic reasons. As we all know, travel ball takes up alot of our time and money. Paying for tournament fees, uniforms, dues, etc. is tough enough. Getting our kids halfway across the nation dang near impossible. Thank God for fundraisers and sponsors! My DD's going to Nationals and I can't even go since I have work. BUMMER!! Breaks my heart to say the least. Win or lose, as long as she comes home with a great memory, i'm good with it.
