I don't think it had anything to do with bad breaks. TPS girls were smacking the ball all day on Sunday, that is why they won and that is why no one will beat them if they continue to hit. Nothing against the Sting- they are a great team- but Sunday TPS won the games outright. :D

figrnitout, Your a smart one ! So let me brake it down for the simple minded ! I will type it slow so you can follow. TPS is the top team in the state. The Texas Sting has to be fresh and cant afford loosing questionable calls in order to beat them. In the championship last weekend the Sting playing there third game in a row on that goat track & heat. Not very good odds on beating the number one team in the state under those conditions. OK PUMPKIN ! Got it now. Yes the TPS hit well all weekend against the Sting, hats off to them & Jody for having them prepared (and the Sting did not ). The first game, there were some questionable calls that could have changed the out come of the 2-1 game would you agree, or were you watching some other game. Are we crystal :o now.

Hammer- yes I am the smart one. However, I was only commenting on your statement, and I quote" Who ever gets the brakes(incorrect spelling) this time (implying that TPS got the breaks they needed to win) is the state champions." I do agree with you that TPS-98 is the best 10-u team in the state- that is crystal clear to everybody!

Ding Ding to your corners Let the smack talk begin....

"A" predictions

Stros 98
TX Sting 98
TPS 98 "This is a long distance tourney for them they've been playing with home field advantage for the last 4 months I think the last itme they played out of Deer park/Pasadena/Elfranco region was March" The miles will get to them

Really? Has the heat gotten to you this past weekend? I think you are suffering from some major heat exhaustion. The Stros '98 finishing first? Oh my...don't think so. The 'Stros are a great group of coaches and girls but so far as not been able to hold their shorts up compared to the other two you listed.
Agree regarding the home field for TPS but they are still the best team (all around) out there.
Please go put some ice on your burning scalp...you are starting to think weird things.

I would not take anything away from the TPS they are stacked and Jody knows what he is doing for sure.I would think It would be safe to say that the TPS takes playing the Texas Sting very serious. The Texas Sting knows a little about softball also and has a coach that knows what he is doing as well. You like your team and I like mine, wouldn't trade for all the softballs in Houston. Good luck to both and I hope the blue just can keep up with these two powerhouses. :D :D

Once the bracket is out I'll once again lay out my predictions and include the most probable point at which JC will be ejected from the game. My gut is telling me he'll meet up with the cobras 99 in his third game (losers bracket) and this will be his most likely point of ejection

Time out, Allllll Day Sunday they were hitting? Negative Ghost Rider the pattern is full...... Ask your Coach he told me the hitting started with Tx-Sting otherwise, TPS has been struggling.

I agree the umps SUCKED but they SUCKED for everyone. We "Tx-Sting" just came up short. It happens as you will see.
