Some notes from ASA Metro

Hammer played Minnie Pearl Saturday leaving the tag on his new lawn chair.

Hammer could use some DJ lessons but all in all did well.

I was wrong on 2 brackets TX Sting beat Stros and impact beat cruisers (this was really a joke on my part mainly to rile up JC) no ejections but he was close a couple times (TPS Game under the tag)....

Funny to be that close and face to face with so many Heybucket members nice to know I'm that kknown and discussed LOL

TPS and TX Sting have their berth so now what does TX Sting decide to do?

Stros, Impact, Spring Sting, Peppers 98 rounding out the top 6

Best non TPS/Tx Sting Game

Sunday Stros 98 vs. Spring Sting 98 (6-5 Stros) every other game was pretty much a blow out

Need a Wireless version this BB posting is a pain.

Really, Looks like the Sting will pass on the ASA birth so I guess your team is in for the ASA nat's. Congratulation ! Or are ya'll going to both ASA and USFA nat's now. ;)

Great job to the TPS we played you close but could not put you away. YOU HAVE A GREAT GROUP OF KIDS ! I hope we will do it again next week at USFA state with just a bit different outcome. :D

I was out of town and missed the metro, but heard it was another classic battle between 2 class organizations Sting and TPS. It's too bad Sting that you will not be going to ASA nationals. With Sting and TPS there the rest of the country would find out how great South Texas softball really is. Once again Sting and TPS you are Class of Texas softball

I'm sure TPS will represent Tx. just fine at ASA Nat's. They have the depth and the bat's to go deep in big tournaments. We all will be behind them and keeping up with how they roll threw the bracket. Houston is sending a great repetitive from our great state. Good luck to the TPS at ASA nat's ! :D

Good Weekend Crappy fields, no parking and questionable Blues but other then that good competition. TPS, TX Sting, Stros and Spring Sting all looked good this weekend.

Peppers 98 sorry not to impressive SS made about 10 errors in the game I saw (Easiest bracket after game (4) which explains the tied for 5th)

Impact 98 played well but it was clear they are outmatched by the top 4 while they did beat the Katy Cruisers 99 if was by a score of 6-2 (easiest barcket of all start to 4th place once they hit a top 4 team it was all over)

Frenzy same thing good group of folks but just outmatched

Texas Heat looked good as well but take away 2-3 players and they would be in big trouble no depth.

Hysteria, Cruisers, Peppers 99 did what they could with what they had

Hammer call GRANDMASTER FLASH I’m sure that Ninja will teach ya how to be a real DJ….. LOL…. By the way Flash the 80’s called and said your music still sucks.

Congrats to TPS on the BIG WIN and the Berth. Congrats to the TX Sting on 2nd place finish and the Berth.

Raise you hand if you think the facility and the umpires sucked……. Both my hands are up. The officiating was absolutely horrible for the entire tournament. Where in the hell do these get these guy’s?

In the Championship game…..Thank God it was father’s day otherwise some Tx Sting fathers and the cameraman would have been sent packing by Blue after a strong warning for a blown strike call (only 1 of about 175 for the tournament).

Anyway, Splendora,Tx next :D How many teams are signed up for this one?
