Team Insurance

Any recommendations for team insurance ? Dont care for the policies that require each player be listed like Bollingers, I want a pickup player to be covered as well.

Edited to add: Got this taken care of - went with the Team Insurance with USFA. ($170 for 18u - 250 deductible)

I was pretty happy with Team insurance from USSSA, It's team specific, not player specific, so if kids get added to your roster for a weekend they are covered.

In our organization only 2 teams out of 5 went with Bollingers because they ultimately are hoping to earn a berth to a ASA National and would be forced to purchase Bollingers at that point to attend.

You are not forced to buy Bollingers to play ASA qualifiers or nationals.

We were told point blank by our local ASA organization at our JO Fastpitch annual meeting that Bollinger insurance was a requirement at 16U ASA Nationals in S.D. this year. We would be required to show proof of either Bollingers team insurance or bollingers player insurance for all players and that any other insurance would not be recognized.

Maybe that is what they wanted us to believe and it was a hard sell, but they make the rules so we're obligated to believe them when they tell us this stuff.
