Nokona - Combo Series - Buffalo and Oil-Tanned Cowhide. Beautiful glove broken in quickly and made in the USA!

It varies from catcher to catcher. All the biggies have at least one great model in their lineup. It is a personal preference probably influenced by family (dad) preferences. We are Nokona fans. DD sleeps with hers next to her on the pillow. She is dreading the day when she may be forced to switch. ALthough it may not be that bad.

My DD is a 10U catcher and I recently purchased a new mitt. I was sold on the Nokona buffalo hide , but when she put it on, it seemed made for a much larger hand. The space between index finger and thumb slots was too wide, and she couldn't even begin to close it.
After trying on multiple mitts, we went with a Worth Wicked 32", and she loves it. Fits her hand perfectly.
I guess at this age, it really depends on your DD. Her catching instructor ('Doe' Denmon) said it was ideal for her, and she could use that same glove all the way thru HS.
