Group CATCHING Lessons - Waste of time - YES?

What's on your mind?

If you're not part of the solution then you're part of the problem.

As for me, I don't feel the need to save all of these poor lost girls from their "stupid" parents. I'm totally happy just minding my own business and not concerning myself with how someone else is raising their kid. In fact, I'm fine with being part of the perceived problem.

Also, the common theme between each of your threads seems to be the money factor. If you are short on dough why don't you start teaching some lessons so you can have some extra walking around cash.

This is the first time I've ever heard anyone actually admit to being an idiot and claim to be proud of it. I could give a $hit about the money that idiots spend on their kids. I do care about stupid parents that have no problem causing long term injuries to their children and I will continue to speak out about the subject. If you don't like it, don't respond and keep being part of the problem.

Reason #34 on why sometimes it is better to pay someone else to teach your kids sport skills

I will just give my opinion and leave on this subject. My daughter has been going to Jen for 5 years. She is now a senior in High school. There hasn't been a better more positive role model in her life then Jen. My DD was diagnosed with TYPE 1 diabetes the summer before her freshman year. She struggled with school and softball the next 18-24 months just trying to figure out her new lifestyle. Jen was there for her as a friend and a coach whenever she needed help. She has done 1 on 1 with Jen and about 2 years ago decided to goto group lessons. What a different it made to work out with a few other girls her age, it pushed her more to be a better Catcher. And also make some really good new friends in the process. So after everything my daughter has gone through and Jen being there for all these years she succeeded in getting her D1 scholarship. The best decision my daughter made was going from 1 on 1 to group lessons.

Congratulations to you and your daughter, Hipcheck.

The OP (softballjerk) appears to have a personal ax to grind with Jen and has decided to hide behind a screen name here on HB to bash her. I'm wondering if there is an ironic situation here where Jen is making the money that jerk thinks he/she (I think she) should be making as an instructor. Whatever the reason it's not likely a noble cause.
