Just wanted to tip my hat to the Lady Stros 98 for a great weekend of softball. It was very enjoyable and fresh to see a team play so hard every inning and coaches with so much passion
for his girls. Had to be the best hitting team all weekend, sound defense and decent pitching.
Good luck to yall in the future and hope to see yall on the diamond soon. Stay humble and keep working hard and show how good you are on the field without all the chest bumping on here.

I agree. The 98 Lady Stros played with alot of heart and class. I was very impressed while watching their game. I think they will be one of the top 10U teams this year. Very well coached!!

Isn't that a Blondie song?

Meaning the players and coaches truly enjoyed the game and played it to win it. We see too many teams where the coaches are yelling, appealing the umps calls and throwing hissy fits!!!

First couple of tournaments show that a few teams did their offseason work. What happens now does not mean that the world has been turned upside down. We will see how some teams do with the moves that they have made.

TPS- added a pitcher, did not improve defense
Sting- did not add anything, will be strong defensively
Kaos - all new, has not taken the field
Impact- well coached, should be improved
Peppers- lost too much
Stros- not bad for first outing, could be one to watch
Rage- needs to play better tournaments to gauge where they are at

Fill in the rest

The Bomber tournament should be a good early showing for State. Not too many Houston teams going.

Order of the top 10's in Houston area could change after Cy-Fair tourney:
1. Lady Stos 98 - very athletic, good hitting, average pitching
2. Texas Sting 98 - good defense and pitching, hitting streaky
3. TPS 98 - good pitching, girls out of position defensively, big bats

The rest is a coin-flip on any given weekend.

Rage 98 - good team, just need to show up at big tournaments
Kaos 98 - should be good "on paper"

Should be an interesting Spring. Bombers tournament will speak volumes!!! ;) ;)
