Just curious what everyone is paying in annual dues across the country and what it gives you?

If your not comfortable saying which team that is fine. I'm more curious about what state you're in, age, and what those dues include.

Uniform fees, tourney fees...????

Ask yourself. not knowing your situation...Does the amount work out? As in what level tourneys do you play in?
Stuff like Colorado etc aint cheap...

In Texas, 500-600 dollars a season (Spring and Fall) where you have fund raisers also. That may or may not be the norm depending on if you have sponsors or not.
Maybe some one else can post costs without giving a sermon on "determine if you are getting what you're paying for".

I was hoping for actual numbers not preaching. We've been doing the travel ball thing for a long time now, I know how it works. I'm just interested in the going rates for dues around the country.

Here's ours as an example.

18u team that is part of a large organization we pay just over $2500 per year (September to August ). That includes paid coaching, fields, team equipment. It also covers 5 fall tournaments and playing 8 - 9 tournaments in the summer. It does NOT cover the big national tournament like PGF, parents still have to come out of pocket for that for about $300 - $350. Dues do not cover any uniforms, helmets, cleats, etc.

Our 10u teams pay $1500 per year while our 18u gold team pays $2700 per year.

Edited to add, no fundraising and no sponsors.

Anyone willing to offer similar information would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

We are in Texas and will pay something like $2200 a year, which equates to $650 program fee (clinics, sanctioning fee, uniforms, helmets, bag, etc) Monthly fees ($150.00) cover tournaments, coaches fees, etc. 18U, 16u, 14U pay roughly the same amount. 12U and 10U will be different based on the caliber of tourneys. Fundraising will be needed to fill the gaps if necessary.


I attended a tryout last year for a "well known" organization and they handed the parents a form. It said something to the effect that the Gold team does not have to pay for anything, which means the other teams pay for that team.

Good point. Also, don't forget, on some "big organization" teams, there are girls that some coaches feel are worthy to be given a "free" ride - so the other girls usually have to make up those fees, too. The money has to be squeezed from someone somewhere.

Was asking more how was your 'dues' broken down?
Uniform costs?
Tourney fees?
Do you pay coaches? Their travel and expenses...Equipment fees?
Are travel fee's included...as if parents don't go...?
How far and how much do you travel?
Do you pay field rental fees?
What type venues do you attend?
Do you have to pay for 'private' lessons?

Our club goes to bigger tourneys, Uniforms last 2 seasons...paid almost $500 for uni's and $600ish for tourney fees ea. year.
If we couldn't go with her, we'd split the travel coasts with team mate she was staying with...

I do know of teams whose 'owner' / coach that are merely cash cows for her...with very little legitimacy on anything. They make kids buy everything thru the org, at inflated prices, even the swag the parents wear (they tell them what to wear also) And charge very high rates for private lessons that you MUST attend...and go to no one else...
